On January 11th, 2024 at 11:09am, less than 11 months after MainNet launch, Geode Blockchain seamlessly upgraded its runtime to remove the SUDO. The chain is now officially fully decentralized and community led!

Geode Blockchain’s founders, Tom and Kathryn, have taken a step in the right direction for Team Human in a new patent: Proof Of Unique Personhood For User Authentication, Bot Detection, and Quantum Safe Encryption. The patent pending concept combines zero knowledge proofs, machine learning and art (yes, art) to help you prove you are the human you say you are, and to keep bots and AI entities from making fake accounts, as well as keeping your real accounts Quantum-safe. After long careers inventing and working with prototype technologies for other people, this is the first patent for each of the power couple founders.
