How Is Identity Handled on Geode?
Identity on Geode is based on your account public key. Additionally, users can opt in for on-chain identity using their legal name and have their documents verifeid by other users who act as bonded identity registrars.
How Many Transactions Per Second Can Geode Handle?
Geode is built on Substrate which allows for 1000 TPS as a standalone layer one. (see these banchmarks and this article). Layer 2 chains can multiply that rate as they join in, rolling up transactions for registration on Geode. For example, a single Layer 2 chain also built on Substrate can roll up 1000 transactions per second into a single transaction on Geode, offering 1 Million TPS between the two. As Layer 3 chains join in, that increases to a capacity of 1 Billion TPS with just Geode, a single Layer 2 chain and a single Layer 3 chain, and so on, adding capacity as needed.
Is Geode Blockchain’s Code Audited?
